PROGRAMS

Leaps ‘n’ Bounds specialises in Kindy Gym for children aged 20 months to 5 years, and Fitness 4 Kids for 4 to 6 year olds. Both programs are gross motor skill-based, and small classes allow for individual attention. Families come to us for weekly classes.

We also offer Sport programs for Pre-Schools and Childcare centres.

Here is some information about each of the programs…

KINDY GYM
*Fun gross motor skills program incorporating music ‘n’ action, equipment exploration and games

*Challenging children both physically and intellectually, the activities allow children to progress at their own level

*Children identify with themes such as feelings, family, colour, animals

*Classes enable parents to enjoy learning with their child

*Using specialised equipment, activities involve balancing, climbing, jumping, rolling, throwing and catching


FITNESS 4 KIDS
 *F4K classes are aimed at giving children the skills and confidence to play a range of sports and develop a positive attitude towards physical activity

* Sessions are fun, varied and non-competitive

*The program encompasses locomotion (different types of movement), body control (jumps, landing, balance, spatial awareness) and ball skills (throwing, catching, striking).

*Lessons are great for improving co-ordination, fine and gross motor skills and fitness.

PRE-SCHOOL SPORTS PROGRAMS
We offer Sports programs to pre-schools and childcare centres.  Activities within our programs challenge children's co-ordination, balance, gross motor skills, strength and fitness. Our sessions are skill based and we focus on locomotor, object-control and body control skills. The emphasis is on fun rather than competition.
